Ordinance No. 3 Second Series

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.10 OF ORDINANCE NO. 61 ADOPTED JANUARY 12, 2000 AND ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND MEMBER OF THE CITY COUNCIL.”

 

The City Council of Badger ordains:

 

Section 1.  Section 2.10 of Ordinance No. 61 adopted March 14, 1990 and entitled “An Ordinance Setting the Salaries of the Mayor and Members of City Council” is amended to read:

            Section 2.10.  Salaries of Mayor and Councilmembers.  Salaries of the Mayor and Council are hereby fixed as follows, which amounts are deemed reasonable:

                        Subd. 1.  The annual salary of the Mayor shall be $800.00

                        Subd. 2.  The annual salary of each Councilmember shall be $500.00

                        Subd. 3.  In addition to said annual salary, the Mayor and each Councilmember shall receive $20.00 for each special meeting that such Councilmember attends, and shall be reimbursed for documented travel expenses and expenses incurred for attendance at all out-of-City meetings at which such members attendance is required by law or authorized by the Council.

                        Subd. 4.  The salaries provided for herein shall be effective January 1, 2001.
