Ordinance 61

 

An Ordinance Setting the Salaries of the Mayor and Council

 

            Section 1.  Ordinance No. 44 entitled “An Ordinance Fixing Compensation for Mayor and Councilmen for the City of Badger, Minnesota” is hereby repealed.

 

            Section 2.  The salary of the Mayor of the City of Badger shall be six hundred ($600.00) dollars annually; and the salary of the Council Members of the City of Badger shall be three hundred ($300.00) dollars annually.  In addition thereto, the Mayor and Council shall receive fifteen ($15.00) dollars for attendance at each special meeting held in addition to the regular meeting of the City Council.

 

            Section 3.  The Mayor and Council shall be reimbursed for documented travel expenses incurred in attending out-of-city meetings required by law and authorized by the council.

 

            Section 4.  This ordinance shall take effect from and after the first city business day in January 1991, and each year thereafter.
