Ordinance No. 52

 

An Ordinance Prohibiting an Open Container of Intoxicating Liquors or Beer or Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquors in Public Places in the City of Badger.

 

The City Council of the City of Badger, Minnesota, does ordain as follows:

 

            Section 1.  Open containers of intoxicating liquor, beer, or no-intoxicating malt liquor as defined by Minnesota Statutes, shall be regulated as follows:

 

No person shall have any open containers of intoxicating liquor, beer, or non-intoxicating malt liquor, as the same are defined by Minnesota Statutes, on any public highway, sidewalk, or any other public place in the City of Badger, Minnesota.

 

            Section 2.  Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine by not more than Five Hundred and no/100 ($500.00) Dollars or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both.

 

            Section 3.  All ordinances and part of ordinance inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

            Section 4.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its passage and publication.
